We're looking for a Citizen Development Lead to help grow and support a thriving community of over 1,000 citizen developers leveraging the Service. Now platform. In this highly visible role, you will serve as both a trusted advisor and technical enabler, helping business users transform ideas into scalable applications while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and best practices. You'll play a key role in fostering a culture of innovation, empowering teams to solve business challenges through low-code development.What you will do Drive Citizen Developer Success Serve as the primary point of contact for a growing community of 1,000+ citizen developers across the organization. Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support throughout the application development lifecycle. Conduct onboarding sessions, workshops, and hands-on training to help users maximize the value of Service. Now's low-code capabilities. Create and maintain engaging training materials, learning paths, best practice guides, and FAQ documentation. Champion Innovation and Adoption Enable users to build solutions using Service. Now technologies including App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and other platform capabilities. Explore emerging Service. Now features and modules through Proof of Concepts (Po. Cs), evaluating their business value and adoption potential. Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption of new capabilities and platform enhancements. Ensure Governance and Quality Establish and maintain guardrails that ensure applications meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, performance, and data integrity. Review and validate citizen-developed applications, providing guidance to improve design, functionality, and compliance. Support governance initiatives that balance innovation with risk management. Own Platform Delivery Excellence Manage and oversee CI/CD processes for scoped applications, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments into production environments. Coordinate upgrade testing activities and validate platform readiness during Service. Now releases. Utilize tools such as Automated Test Framework (ATF) to ensure application quality and stability. Act as a Trusted Consultant Partner with business teams during major module rollouts and strategic initiatives. Provide consultation on solution design, development approaches, access requirements, and governance expectations. Help teams navigate the citizen development journey while ensuring alignment with organizational standards.

About you

4+ years of professional experience in Service. Now platform development, application delivery, platform enablement, or related enterprise technology roles. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of Service. Now platform capabilities and low-code/no-code development practices.

Experience educating, mentoring, or supporting users, with a genuine passion for helping others succeed through technology. Experience establishing and enforcing governance guardrails related to security, data integrity, compliance, and platform best practices. Hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, and supporting custom applications on the Service.

Now platform, preferably using App Engine Studio and other low-code capabilities. Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, source control, Flow Designer, Catalog Item, Record Producer, ACLs and Glide scripts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into practical technology solutions.

Proven ability to collaborate across global teams, build trusted relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Adaptability and curiosity to explore emerging platform capabilities, conduct Proof of Concepts (Po. Cs), and drive continuous improvement. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
