Part-Time Class A Driver Weekend Coverage I Kalamazoo Area, Ml Looking to supplement your income with weekend driving work? B&B Trucking is seeking dependable Class A drivers in the Detroit area to provide weekend coverage for local delivery, shuttle, and customer support services. Our customers operate on weekends, creating opportunities for drivers available to support those needs.

Weekend Scheduling Weekend coverage window: Friday at 5:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m. Individual shifts are offered as needed within this window based on customer needs and driver availability. Shifts generally range from 4 to 12 hours. Specific start times and assignments vary by customer needs. Our dispatch team will make every attempt to schedule and communicate available opportunities up to one week in advance.

Our operations team will work with you to identify weekend assignments that fit your availability and existing employment commitments. Drivers with a full-time job elsewhere are welcome to apply. Assignments must fit within available hours of service.

Responsibilities

Perform local deliveries, shuttle movements, and customer support services as assigned. Safely move and position trailers at customer facilities. Follow customer safety procedures, including required wheel chocking and trailer securement. Enter and exit the vehicle, operate trailer doors, and inspect equipment and loads as required.

Use text messaging to receive instructions and communicate trailer numbers, dock assignments, and completed movements. 24-hour B&B dispatch support available to drivers. Whether you want occasional weekend shifts or more regular part-time work, our operations team will help identify available opportunities. Future full-time positions may be available based on business needs and driver interest.

Job Eligibility Requirements : Valid Class A CDL Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience Must meet DOT driver qualification requirements Must be able to work the schedule of the assigned bid Must be dependable and able to meet scheduled customer service times Must be willing to operate different routes and equipment when required
