ServiceNow Developer – SecOps

As a Service. Now Developer – Sec. Ops, you will Configure, develop, and customize Service. Now Security Operations (Sec. Ops) modules, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence, and Configuration Compliance. Design and implement workflows, business logic, scripts, and automation to improve security operations.

Integrate Service. Now with third-party security tools, vulnerability scanners, and external APIs. Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain Service. Now Sec. Ops functionalities. Perform application testing, debugging, and validation to ensure reliable platform performance. Support Service. Now platform upgrades and ensure the continued functionality of customized applications and integrations.

Develop custom applications and automate security processes using Service. Now development tools. Collaborate with security and IT teams to improve incident response, vulnerability remediation, and compliance monitoring processes. What You Bring to the Table 6–8 years of overall professional experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Service.

Now development. Strong expertise in Service. Now Security Operations (Sec. Ops) modules, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence, and Configuration Compliance. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for Service. Now application development. Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Service.

Now Studio, and Integration Hub. Experience integrating Service. Now with security platforms such as Splunk and Anomali. Experience integrating vulnerability scanners and security data providers such as Rapid7, Tenable, Microsoft Defender, Invicti, and National Vulnerability Database (NVD). Knowledge of security operations, vulnerability management, threat analysis, and configuration compliance processes.

Experience developing custom applications and working with Service. Now CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Service. Now IT Service Management (ITSM) functionalities and ITIL processes. You should possess the ability to Develop, configure, and maintain Service. Now Sec. Ops applications and workflows. Automate security incident management, vulnerability assessment, and remediation processes.

Design and implement integrations between Service. Now and third-party security tools using APIs. Troubleshoot application issues, debug scripts, and resolve workflow-related problems. Support platform upgrades, application testing, and ongoing operational improvements. Implement scoped applications, manage update sets, and support automated deployment pipelines.
