Site Director - Before and After School Program

Hiring for 2026/2027 School Year Highland Park, IL Pay: starting at $22/hour Hours: 6:00-8:00am & 2:30-6:00pm We're hiring for our Before & After School Programs! You can get paid for HAVE FUN with kiddos!!! Looking for a part-time leadership role that fits around the school day? AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day.

For those who have experience supporting students, the Site Director role offers the opportunity to lead a meaningful before and after school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for an early learning professional who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program Takes pride in delivering a high quality student and family experience Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed In this role, you will: Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards Make child safety the top priority at all times Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success This role is ideal for educators with experience in: Teaching or classroom leadership Youth programs Staff supervision or team leadership Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain) At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds) Benefits/Perks: Part-time benefits including health available Employee referral program monetary incentive Fun and friendships come with the paycheck An 80% discount off current AlphaBEST program tuition rates for each eligible child in attendance.
