Role Overview: This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.

Requirements

Two (2) years of experience required. Community Hospital experience required. One (1) year of EPIC charting experience required. Medication System: Omnicell Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Active SC RN license required. First-time Travelers – 3 years’ experience within specialty required.

Required Clinical Skills : IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen tanks Genitourinary/Renal Gastrointestinal: Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management Medications: Heparin, Insulin Isolation Precautions/PPE Work Settings: Med/Surg, Orthopedics Plastics Schedule: Shift hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Weekend Requirement: Every Other Required Float based on need.
