Assists with answering fitness center related inquiries, including over the phone and via email. Assists members/guests with proper and safe use of fitness equipment. Informs members/guests about fitness center policies and procedures. Maintains cleanliness of fitness center and equipment. Performs opening and closing duties.

Assists with setting-up and breaking-down fitness equipment for various group class workouts. Maintains a safe workout environment and promptly reports incidents to management. Provides personal training sessions to members as assigned by the Director of Fitness.

Requirements

High School Diploma and one (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education/experience. Must be a Certified Personal Trainer to provide Personal Training. Knowledge of fitness equipment and safe equipment use. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members and guests.

Must have nationally recognized CPR/AED certification. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
