Pharma Molecular Biologist

Conduct research and development activities focused on lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation, scale-up, downstream processing, and analytical characterization to support RNA-based therapeutic delivery platforms. Develop and optimize LNP formulations using microfluidic mixing techniques and perform large-scale formulation using the KNauer system.

Apply tangential flow filtration (TFF) for LNP purification, buffer exchange, and concentration. Characterize RNA-loaded LNPs and lipid components using chromatographic, spectroscopic, and biochemical techniques to assess RNA content, integrity, encapsulation efficiency, physicochemical properties, and stability. Support antibody–LNP bioconjugation and conjugate characterization to advance targeted delivery strategies.

Analyze experimental data, troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges, maintain accurate laboratory documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and scale-up of RNA delivery platforms. •Develop and optimize RNA-loaded LNP formulations using microfluidic mixing, evaluating formulation parameters and physicochemical characteristics.

•Perform large-scale LNP formulation using the KNauer system and support process optimization and scale-up. •Execute tangential flow filtration (TFF) workflows for LNP concentration, purification, and buffer exchange. •Characterize LNPs for total RNA content, encapsulation efficiency, particle size, polydispersity index (PDI), and stability.

•Conduct analytical and biochemical assays, including Ribo. Green, ELISA, endotoxin testing, and osmolality measurements. •Interpret experimental results, troubleshoot formulation and downstream processing challenges, and document procedures and findings. •Collaborate with formulation, analytical chemistry, and cross-functional teams to improve process robustness, reproducibility, and efficiency.

Job requirements: * BS-Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology or related field with 3-5 years related lab experience or MS-related field with 0-2 years of related lab experience.
