Salina Regional Health Center RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST MAMMOGRAPHY POSITION SUMMARYPerforms radiographic and fluoroscopic medical imaging exams and procedures on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric). Performs mammography exams, image-guided breast procedures, and bone densitometry exams on adult and geriatric patients. Exhibits superior levels of customer service. The technologist effectively operates radiographic equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings. The technologist explains procedures to the patient, demonstrates appropriate patient positioning, and obtains optimum views of specified anatomy. The technologist adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines.
