Maintenance Technician

Title: Maintenance Technician Company: Global Power Components – www.globalpowercomponents.com Location: Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week) Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months) Overview: Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.

Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking motivated Maintenance Technicians to repair industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of various CNC machines, powder coating lines, welding cells, and other equipment
• Maintaining asset reliability to a high standard
• Utilizing a CMMS for enabling efficient maintenance and repair operations
• Equipment lubrication, filter changes and standard preventative maintenance
• Equipment troubleshooting in machine breakdown situations
• Highlighting any faults or damage to the machine, guarding or tooling
• Working closely with machine operators to identify potential issues prior to failure
• Utilizing safe work practices Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience with machine maintenance in a CNC environment
• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication a plus
• Experience in troubleshooting, dismantling, and repairing a variety of machinery including CNC equipment
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of blueprints, schematics, and documentation
• Computer literate
• Manufacturing experience
• Able to read blueprints and schematics
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Must be highly motivated
• Able to communicate and work well with others
• Must pass competency test, and pre-employment physical including drug screen
