FT Yard Foreman

Sun Valley Co-op is hiring for a full- time Yard Foreman to join our team at Altona Home Center location. Job duties:

• Organizing, loading and helping arrange for deliveries
• Loading customer orders on-site
• Safe and efficient movement of product throughout the yard/warehouse
• Unloading external delivery trucks following all receiving procedures
• Safe operation of all forklifts
• General yard/equipment maintenance. What are we looking for in a candidate:
• Valid class 5 drivers – A class 3 license would be an asset.
• All applicants must be willing to acquire a valid class 3 license within a reasonable timeframe upon hiring.
• Must be physically able to lift upwards of 100 lbs
• Comfortable working in various outdoor conditions (All Manitoba weather)
• Motivated and hardworking personality
• You are efficient and accurate in a busy environment.
• You have strong organizational abilities
• Customer Service Oriented
• Good communication skills
