POSITION TITLE: Retail Stylist DEPARTMENT: Retail Operations REPORTS TO: Store Manager **This is a temporary position, anticipated to conclude on or around January 2, 2027.

POSITION SUMMARY

BYLT Premium Basics is looking for a Retail Stylist who knows that great style goes beyond the clothes, it is about creating a look that moves with you. We don’t just sell products, we build outfits, elevate confidence, and create experiences. As a Retail Stylist you will connect with customers, uncover their needs and curate a head-to-toe look that fits their lifestyle and every occasion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively welcome, engage, and connect with every customer to create a personalized, service driven experience Drives sales through intentional styling. Approach every customer with the intention to identify their needs, plan to recommend complementary products and build a look that elevates the customer’s wardrobe Develop a deep understanding of BYLT products, fabrics, and fits to educate customers, communicate product value and make tailored recommendations for each customer Support the elevated store environment by maintaining a clean, organized and visually exciting sales floor.

This includes, but is not limited to, folding, hanging, replenishing, and merchandising product Process purchases, returns and other transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain awareness of store activity, follow operational and loss prevention procedures and communicate potential security concerns to management Assist with receiving, processing and replenishing merchandise Partner with the team to uphold BYLT’s selling standards, support store goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS Excellent communicator with the ability to utilize technology effectively and engage with customers and your team to meet the store goals Open to feedback, committed to learning and motivated to continuously improve Resourceful and solution oriented, with the ability to gather information and resolve customer concerns and adapt to changing priorities Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on- the-job training Motivated to meet individual and store goals Ability to identify customer needs and suggest complimentary items to drive sales Dedicated to becoming a BYLT product expert Ability to build customer relationships and create a memorable shopping experience Dependable, proactive, and accountable with a strong work ethic General math skills and the ability to accurately perform cash transactions PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: 1 year+ of retail or sales experience Experience with suggestive selling, outfit building or clienteling is a plus Cash handling skills & Point of Sales Systems experience Ability to lift and/or move product weighing up to 50 pounds Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs Must be 18+ or have a High School Diploma/GED PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
