Description Preschool Teacher – $500 Sign-On Bonus! The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a caring and dedicated Preschool Teacher with a NJ P-3, CE, or CEAS certification. Join our team in Perth Amboy, five miles from New York City, serving a community of 6,000+ members through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility programs.

Under the direction of the Preschool Director, the Preschool Teacher creates a safe, nurturing learning environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. Using age-appropriate curriculum and activities aligned with our YMCA values of Honesty, Caring, Responsibility, Respect, and Faith, the Preschool Teacher fosters positive relationships, promotes inclusion, and collaborates with a Teacher Assistant and team members to ensure a high-quality early childhood program.

Essential Responsibilities Lead age-appropriate lesson plans and activities. Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Supervise and engage children, ages 3–5. Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members. Track and communicate children’s progress. Promote inclusion and model YMCA core values.

Benefits
