Are you a skilled problem-solver with a knack for keeping things running smoothly? We're hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team at Presque Isle Downs & Casino! In this role, you’ll tackle a variety of tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, machine servicing, and even table games maintenance.

- Be part of an energetic team ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Candidate must be knowledgeable in the procedures and required safety measures necessary to complete daily tasks. Candidate must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the maintenance field. Candidate will perform maintenance and repairs on table game equipment. Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.
REQUIRED SKILLS
AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. LANGUAGE ABILITY Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. MATH ABILITY Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. COMPUTER SKILLS Knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC’s are preferred. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must have a valid driver’s license.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational skills desired. The noise level is loud on the casino floor. Candidate will be exposed to smoke when on the casino floor. Candidate must be organized and be able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
