Marketing Coordinator & Graphic Designer (Swansea, IL) Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly Job Type: Full-Time Location: Non-remote; onsite position 2610 N. JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator & Graphic Designer supports the Bank’s marketing efforts throughout the St. Louis Metro and Metro East by creating compelling visual content, coordinating marketing initiatives, managing social media, and assisting with the Bank’s website and overall digital presence. This position combines strong graphic design skills with creativity, organization, and an understanding of digital marketing to help strengthen the Bank’s brand and effectively promote the Bank’s employees, products, services, locations, and community involvement.

The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple projects, develop engaging content, and translate ideas into effective visual and digital communications while maintaining a consistent brand identity. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Design and produce marketing materials for print and digital use, including advertisements, social media graphics, flyers, brochures, signage, location materials, event materials, email graphics, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns.

Coordinate marketing projects and campaigns from concept through completion, working with location managers, loan officers, department managers, and other employees to identify marketing needs and develop effective materials and messaging. Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content that highlights Bank employees, customers, products and services, community involvement, events, and local markets.

Capture, edit, and organize photography and short-form video content for social media, digital advertising, employee spotlights, community features, recruiting initiatives, and other marketing efforts. Maintain a consistent Bank brand identity, voice messaging, and visual style across print, digital, social media, website, and other marketing channels.

Coordinate marketing support for new products and services, promotions, location initiatives, community sponsorships, special events, and other Bank activities. Identify compelling stories and content opportunities throughout the Bank and transform them into engaging marketing content, including employee features, customer and local business spotlights, community involvement, financial education, and other relevant topics.

Assist with the planning, promotion, coordination, and on-site marketing coverage of FCB-sponsored events, community activities, sponsorships, and other special events. Assist with website content management, including updating pages, images, promotions, employee information, location information, product and service information, and other website content.

Maintain a working knowledge of website best practices, basic search engine optimization (SEO), website analytics, digital accessibility, and user experience principles. Work with outside vendors and internal resources on website updates, digital marketing initiatives, advertising campaigns, and more technical website needs.

Monitor website traffic, social media engagement, campaign performance, digital advertising results, and other relevant marketing metrics. Assist with analyzing results and recommending opportunities to improve engagement and marketing effectiveness. Stay current on trends and best practices in graphic design, social media, digital marketing, photography, video, website content, and emerging marketing technologies, and bring new ideas and recommendations to the Marketing Department.

Ensure marketing materials, advertisements, website content, social media posts, and other communications comply with the Bank’s brand standards, policies, and applicable banking advertising and compliance requirements. Maintain organized files and records of marketing materials, graphic assets, photography, video, logos, templates, and other creative resources.

Coordinate with printers, promotional product companies, media outlets, digital advertising providers, photographers, and other marketing vendors as needed. Develop, maintain, and regularly update the Bank’s marketing calendar to ensure the timely planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns, social media content, promotional initiatives, community events, sponsorships, and other marketing activities.

Coordinate with internal departments to track deadlines, prioritize projects, and ensure marketing efforts remain organized and aligned with the Bank’s objectives. Assist with additional marketing, communications, public relations, and community outreach initiatives as assigned. TECHNICAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Strong graphic design skills with the ability to create professional, engaging, and brand-consistent materials for both print and digital platforms.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and In. Design, or comparable professional design software. Working knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for creating, scheduling, and managing business content. Ability to capture and edit quality photography and short-form video content for digital and social media use.

Working knowledge of website content management systems and basic understanding of SEO, website analytics, digital accessibility, and user experience. Strong creative thinking and visual communication skills with the ability to turn concepts, information, and business objectives into engaging marketing materials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to grammar, accuracy, tone, and brand consistency.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with employees and managers throughout the organization. Ability to communicate professionally with outside vendors, community organizations, customers, and other external partners.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly when working with financial products, rates, disclosures, and regulated marketing content. Ability to recognize interesting stories, events, and activities throughout the Bank and develop creative ways ot communicate them to customers and the community.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities, respond to time-sensitive marketing needs, and occasionally attend events or activities outside of normal business hours. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling employee, customer, and Bank information.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, or a related field preferred. Previous professional experience in graphic design, marketing, communications, social media, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated graphic design experience and a portfolio showcasing print and digital design work strongly preferred.

Experience creating content for business social media platforms preferred. Experience with photography, video creation and editing, website content management, or digital advertising is beneficial. Financial services or other regulated-industry experience is helpful but not required. WORKING ENVIRONMENT & DEMANDS: Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment with extended periods of sitting and working at a computer.

Regularly uses computers, design software, office equipment, cameras, mobile devices, and other marketing-related technology. Requires frequent use of hands and fingers for computer, keyboard, mouse, and design-related work. Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, electronically, and through other communication methods.

Requires the ability to visually review detailed graphic designs, photographs, digital content, printed materials, and website content. Occasionally requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and carrying marketing materials, signage, promotional items, photography equipment, or event supplies. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Requires occasional travel to Bank locations, community events, sponsorship activities, photo/video shoots, and other marketing-related activities throughout the Bank’s market area. May occasionally require attendance at events or activities outside of normal business hours, including evenings or weekends.
