Job description

(less experience will be considered for Assistant Manager, Administration (Performing Arts) position) Reporting to: AGP SM The AGP Manager plays a key role in supporting the strategic and operational development of the Performing Arts Division.

The position is responsible for driving business planning, performance analytics, and project management to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of performing arts programmes. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners effectively.

You Will Be Responsible For Manage the governance and financial support functions of the Division, including resource allocation, record consolidation and preparation of reports for management review; Support the development and implementation of strategic and business plan for the PA Division; Oversee the internal administrative and financial operations of artistic projects, ensuring proper resources allocation, record consolidation, and management reporting; Collaborate with internal Departments to ensure project workflows match legal standards, financial policies, and approved organizational procedures; Develop, implement, and maintain administrative systems and workflows that support effective team management and daily office operations across both current office-wide and future venue-wide arrangements; Performing other business operations and ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor; and performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by the Authority.

You Should Possess a recognised university degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Arts Administration, Project Management or related disciplines; Have at least 10 years of relevant experience with 3 years in proven management experience. Experience in project management, business planning, or research of performing arts, cultural, or creative industries will be an advantage; Demonstrate experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects that require cross-departmental alignment and strategic planning; Have solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights; Be proactive, detail-oriented, and results-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; Be an excellent team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills; Be proficient in both written and verbal English and Chinese; and Be computer literacy in using MS Office, Project or equivalent project management tools; advanced Excel or data analysis skills are an advantage.
