Finance Manager

Our client is a leading distributor of technology, services, and lifestyle products in Sub-Saharan Africa. They currently have an opening for a Finance Manager to be based in Lagos, Nigeria. The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning.

This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal financial controls. Supervise payment confirmations and audit coordination. Collaborate with other departments to reconcile transactions and maintain accurate records. Support strategic planning and financial analysis initiatives.

Prepare financial statements and reports for management review. Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an advantage. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in use of an ERP (Preferably Dynamics 365) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
