Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) to lead our CPE program within a dynamic hospital setting. In this role, you will shape the spiritual formation of future chaplains — designing curriculum, supervising student interns, and upholding the highest standards of the ACPE.
Responsibilities
Recruit, interview, & admit CPE student interns; provide supervision and evaluation Develop and manage curriculum, handbooks, and educational goals for Level I & II CPE Ensure program delivery in full compliance with ACPE standards Maintain accurate records, reports, policies, and educational resources Collaborate with the Chaplaincy team and serve on institutional committees Develop on-call coverage plans in coordination with the Director of Pastoral Care Qualifications Master's degree ACPE Certified Educator in good standing Board Certified Chaplain (APC, NACC, or Neshama) — preferred Chaplaincy experience in a healthcare setting CPE management experience Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural, diverse staff and patient populations Excellent English written and verbal communication skills Pay Range USD $97,000.
