Assistance Maintenance

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the maintenance field and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

Run the daily maintenance operations of the property and buildings. Inspect property and buildings for life/safety issues and take immediate corrective action and inform the line manager. Identify building maintenance needs, prioritize work and take corrective actions and take manager Approval. Be a self starter and work independently in the absence of supervision.

Perform a full range of skilled building maintenance for extended periods of time. Repair and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment. Maintain a Clean work area. Assists contractors for any requirements the company required. Perform preventative maintenance on buildings including but not limited to: skilled carpentry, Electrical, painting, plastering, dry walling, plumbing, heating, limited air conditioning and basic Mechanical repair work, door hardware, keying, exit and emergency lighting.

Repair electrical switches, outlets, lighting systems and fixtures. Perform advance level plumbing work including the installation, repair and replacement of Plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters and pipes; clear obstructions from Water and sewer lines. Perform adequate level of carpentry work including the repair ofstairs, handrails, trim, walls, Windows, siding, doors and other work.

Inspect building facilities to identify building maintenance needs. Preventive maintenance reports, recommend, prioritize and perform corrective maintenance required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a commercial or residential setting Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Strong problem-solving and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
