Welder - 1st and 2nd Shift available

Description Welder Summary: Manually weld materials and components to specification Essential Function: Set up and manually operate weld machine Perform welding processes on materials including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel Use weld fixtures, gauges, and jigs when appropriate Produce production parts as per specified requirements Operate forklift, pallet jack, hoist or crane to move product Perform quality inspection to ensure parts are produced to specification Assist with any other duties as assigned Requirements Basic Requirements: Knowledge of MIG/TIG/Resistance welding principles General manufacturing experience and knowledge of different materials Basic to intermediate math, computer, and written/verbal communication skills Knowledge of welding machine adjustments General knowledge of grinders, power tools and other small hand tools, including tape measure and caliper Read and understand prints, weld symbols, process sheets, and other documents
