Surgical Services Supply Specialist Full Time Day Shift

Job Summary

The Surgical Services Supply Specialist handles all facets relating to the receipt and distribution of surgical supplies and other services for Surgery. This cross functional position works closely with the following Departments: Purchasing, Receiving and Distribution and Perioperative Services in reconciling questions related to the ordering and receipt of surgical products and services.

The position will require limited travel to the Avon campus. Job Description Essential Responsibilities: Collaborate with managers to determine supply needs Purchase/process supplies and materials requirements according to specifications Assist, verify and process receiving and supply distribution Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material Assist in forecasting to plan future orders Perform scheduled supply cycle counts Education/Experience: Minimum of two years of experience working in Surgical Supply or a Surgical Operating setting High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required A two-year degree in business, supply chain, healthcare management or related field may be accepted in lieu of experience Proficient in MS Office Working knowledge of computerized inventory management systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently Work Shift : 7:00am – 3:30pm (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40
