Kitchen Assistant

We are on the lookout for a kitchen assistant to join our busy team, the role will involve the preparation and cooking of food menu items, as well as adhering to a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and cellar areas. Position: Kitchen Assistant

• Leeds Casino Hours per week: 40 About you:
• Excellent customer service skills,
• Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality role or other relevant experience.
• Good understanding of kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of cleaning requirements.
• Full awareness and knowledge of food safety regulations.

• Ensure day to day responsibilities are being completed, such as cleaning requirements and reporting.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Follow all guidance and procedures in line with Licensing Act 2003.
• Following correct food preparation procedures.
• Assisting with stock takes and other duties.
• Maintaining strong cleaning practices in the kitchen area.
• Ensure customer service levels are met.
• To ensure that personal conduct is at all times of a manner that reflects favorably on the department and the company and that a presentable appearance is maintained at all times.
• To promote the company in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external contacts or at any other opportunity.
• To ensure a good working environment is maintained in order to harbour good working relationships.
