Auto Caser Stacker

Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking a detail-oriented Auto Caser Stacker to join the Woodland Distribution Center team. Our new DC is a 500,000 sq. ft. packaging, labeling, and distribution facility supporting retail and foodservice customers.

This facility is a year-round labeling and shipping operation with approximately 70 employees and three production lines. Pay Rate: $29.88 per hour. This is a full-time, on-site role (40 hours per week), with occasional weekend and overtime hours required as needed. This position is part of a seniority-based (CBA) Collective Bargaining Unit, and you must be available for first and second shift.

The Auto Caser Stacker is designated and works under the direction of DC Management, such as a Manager, Superintendent, or Salaried Supervisor, and has full responsibility for: PRIMARY DUTIES: Must be able to run various types of automatic casing machines. Must be able to run various types of automatic case stacking machines.

Must create pallet IDs and unit tickets for cased goods either manually or using the computer. Must verify the proper case markings on the outsides of the labeled and cased product. Must verify the correct count for the completion of an order and communicate that count with the label operator and depalletizer operator.

Must use the correct type of pallets with or without slip-sheets. Must be able to interpret written and verbal instructions given in English. Must be able to do basic math. Must maintain the proper glue supply and make routine running adjustments to the machines. Must perform all necessary quality, safety, and operating checks required for each machine the operator works with.

SECONDARY DUTIES: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements. Clean equipment and immediate work area. Assist with changeovers between product lines or labeling requirements. Back up or relieve other positions as needed during absences or peak periods.
