Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site direction to drivers. The Yard Supervisor role is crucial to the relationship between Hines Trucking and its customers Manage and supervise all yard operations, ensuring a smooth flow of trucks, equipment, and materials. The Yard Supervisor will assist mill operations by helping to maintain steady truck flow in and out of mills Loading, transporting, and dropping trailers in accordance with HTI and mill safety policies Support driver manager’s daily dispatch Coordinate with drivers and equipment operators to ensure equipment availability and proper use.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with other departments to support operations and logistics.

Knowledge of tractor trailers, mill operations and safety requirements. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
