Security Officers are assigned the task of insuring the safety and security of the property, including staff/employees, service delivery site employees, patients, visitors, venders, etc.

Security Officers report to the Team Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain strong situational awareness and observation skills. # Document activities at and around your assigned post with clear and concise written notes # Gather and organize facts and other essential information # Fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in the investigation and prosecution of criminal activity occurring on your property.

Focus your senses so as to provide the most effective security service possible. # Serve your company, your clients, law enforcement, and the public using the highest standards of personal and professional conduct. # Must carry out the orders and instructions given to them by the Team Leader. # Keep the Team Leader informed if activities and unusual or significant events.

Establish and maintain good rapport with peers and other An. Med Personnel. Responsible for insuring the safety and security of medical center employees, patients, visitors and property. Qualifications:# High school graduate or GED is required. Must have and maintain a valid state-issued Driver#s License. Must complete a comprehensive South Carolina Law Enforcement background check as required for SLED certification.

Must complete the minimum training for Security Officers as required by the state during the first 30 days of employment. Excellent communication, reading, writing, critical thinking and basic comprehension skills required. Must be able to complete all reports and supplemental documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
