Job description

Minimum Entry Salary *: $14.00 / hour Location: Americus , GA Services Area/Programs: Sumter DD Center Description of Duties : Shift Needs: 7:30 am-3:30 pm Work with a group of up to 10 individuals at the Day Center and smaller groups in the community in accordance with their ISP plans, along with other assigned tasks.

Assist with needs as outlined in the ISP. Complete assigned transportation routes daily, which may include multiple morning and afternoon routes, as needed. Complete contracts in the community as assigned. Promote a safe learning environment. Document and track progress made throughout the day. Complete training as it is assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and one year experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals in a human service setting or associate degree in a related field or one year experience at the lower level or position equivalent (SSS010). Valid Georgia driver’s license is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 1 year experience in a social services setting Agency is an eligible worksite for the VA Education Benefit Program (Veterans) Agency is an eligible work site for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Middle Flint Health & Wellness services the following 11 counties: Webster, Marion, Sumter, Schley, Taylor, Crisp, Dooly, Macon, Houston, Peach and Crawford.
