Counselor Intern

Practicum or internship student to assist in performing psychosocial assessments on new admissions.#Observe and assist facilitating Group Therapy and assist in conducting individual and family counseling sessions.# Present lectures to patients and family members.# Participate in a treatment team with other professional staff.

Maintain appropriate documentation and reports.# Communicate effectively with patients# families, referents and other professionals.# Maintain professional standards regarding practice, conduct, continuing education, appearance and relationships with patients and other professionals. Must be actively enrolled in a practicum or internship course for a Bachelor#s or Master#s program.
