Education

Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse of New Jersey b. Other: Current certification in CPR Job Goal: To provide primary health and emergency care to students by either covering a health office during nurse absences, field trips, or organized school activity. Primary Responsibilities:

• Stands in for school nurses in their absences
• Attends field trips as needed for medically compromised students
• Attends school organized activities as needed
• Follow school district standing orders
• Administer first aid as per district policy
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and per district policy
• Document all encounters in the electronic health record/appropriate method
• Communication with home-base nurses
