As a part of our Interdisciplinary Team working within the Birthplace which includes: 16 post-partum rooms, 6 labor rooms, 4 Observation rooms and 2 open room can be used for labor or post-partum.

your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience. As a Registered Nurse, you would be caring for women during childbirth and her post-partum experience with her newborn. The Birthplace is supported by a level II Neonatal ICU unit. Our teams includes attending physicians, midwives, staff nurse, maternal child tech, ob technicians, unit secretaries, and lactation consultants.

• Birthplace (Labor Delivery- Mother Baby) Shift: Per Diem, 36 hours in 6-week schedule; Minimum of 24 hours must be weekend shifts. Mostly night shifts available. Experience: One year(s) of recent acute care nurse experience Two years of labor delivery experience required. Mother Baby RN experience preferred.

Education

RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred. Licensures/Certifications:

1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required All positions are eligible for an employee referral bonus. The amount varies and is outlined on Wellspring.
