As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will drive the design and delivery of innovative pharmacovigilance and drug safety solutions that advance patient safety and regulatory compliance. This position plays a key role in solution development, client engagement, pre-award support, and post-award delivery oversight. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, delivery, and therapeutic areas, follow industry-standard processes, and contribute to solution development from initial client discovery through successful implementation and account management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead solution development and design of bespoke pharmacovigilance and drug safety solutions that maximize value for clients and differentiate Parexel in the market Support sales initiatives through strategic guidance, opportunity identification, and participation in client discovery sessions to understand business objectives and system need Develop efficient, competitive, and profitable solutions, including scope definition, budget preparation, and commercial proposals for pre-award and post-award engagement Manage client relationships and provide account oversight to ensure solutions meet expectations for time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction Maintain extensive knowledge of pharmacovigilance products, pipelines, competitors, and industry trends to position Parexel for competitive advantage and business growth Ensure effective handover of solutions to delivery teams and drive lessons learned feedback loops to achieve continuous improvement Partner with cross-functional teams across enterprise accounts, growth accounts, delivery, and marketing to support SBU-specific sales targets and strategic objectives Develop and present customer-focused, well-articulated proposal content and budgets that clearly communicate Parexel's value proposition and differentiation Candidate Profile You'll thrive in this role if you bring: Strengths in strategic thinking, client relationship management, and solution design Experience working in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, clinical research, or a regulated healthcare environment The ability to collaborate across matrix teams, communicate complex ideas clearly, and build strong cross-functional relationships A patient-focused mindset, strong attention to detail, and a pragmatic approach to solving business challenges Comfort working with commercial systems, proposal management tools, and industry-standard processes Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, health sciences, or related field Minimum 5+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety Services, or clinical research At least 2 years of experience in developing and designing client-specific safety solutions or consulting services Proven client-facing experience with strong stakeholder management and consulting skills Knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations, ICH-GCP, and clinical trial processes Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in life sciences, business, or related field Experience with process improvement methodologies and automation technologies in drug safety or clinical research Active participation in industry forums and professional organizations related to pharmacovigilance Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed for client engagement and business development We believe in flexibility, growth, and creating space for people to do their best work.
