Marketing & Communications Specialist

• Make a Difference in Your Community Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is seeking a creative, organized, and mission-driven Marketing & Communications Specialist to help tell our story and promote the programs and services that make a difference throughout Jefferson and Franklin Counties.

COMPENSATION

• Starting Pay: $20.70 per hour
• Higher starting pay may be considered based on education and relevant experience
• Full-Time, Exempt Position
• 36-Hour Workweek
• 4-Day Workweek with Fridays Off

• Create marketing materials, social media graphics, flyers, brochures, presentations, and promotional content.
• Write engaging content for social media, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
• Capture and edit photos and videos highlighting agency programs, events, and community impact.
• Manage JFCAC social media platforms and digital presence.
• Assist with website updates, email marketing, and outreach efforts.
• Support agency events and community engagement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• One to three years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media management.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. PREFERRED
• Nonprofit, public sector, or community-based experience.
• Photography and video editing skills.
• Experience with website management and email marketing platforms.
