MEP Quantity Surveyor ( HVAC / Electrical / Plumbing / Fire) QS

Position: MEP Quantity Surveyor Project Types: Commercial, Residential & Fit-Out Projects Location: Hyderabad Job Summary MEP Quantity Surveyors (QS) should have strong experience in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, tendering, and cost control for MEP works across commercial, residential, and fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for MEP works (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting). Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate estimates. Assist in tendering, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations. Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders and highlight budget deviations.

Prepare billing, RA bills, final accounts, and cost reports. Coordinate with design, procurement, site execution, and project teams. Evaluate subcontractor bills and certify payments. Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and project documentation.

Required Skills

& Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor. Proven experience in commercial, residential, and fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, specifications, and industry standards. Proficiency in MS Excel, quantity take-off tools, and estimation software.

Good understanding of contracts, billing, and cost control practices. Strong communication and coordination skills. Preferred Attributes Experience working on fast-paced projects. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Work Location: Hyderabad (On-site)
