Extended Care Aide

Description St. John La. Lande School is seeking a part time Extended Care Aide from 6:30am to 7:40am and/or 2:45pm to 5:30pm (up to 20 hours per week) for our before and after school care program. Experience in an early childhood setting is strongly encouraged, but not required. St. John La. Lande School extends the mission of the Church in forming true disciples of Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities

Always understand and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church. The aide positions require that individuals care for the physical, social, and emotional needs of the young child while promoting and modeling the mission of the Catholic Church. Work under the direction of the Principal. Demonstrate professionalism, including confidentiality, when working with administration, staff, parents and children, while promoting positive relationships and effectively communicating with others Manage and set high behavior standards within the classroom and building.

Must be physically able to perform the job of a caregiver of young children. Be an active member of a faith community and be a model of the teachings of Jesus Requirements Note: All employees are required to consent to a background check, commit to our Code of Conduct policy, and complete online and in-person trainings prior to hire.
