We are looking for an accomplished professional who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial instincts and a proven ability to deliver results through people and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the bancassurance strategy, driving business growth, profitability, portfolio performance, and retention across Motor, Home, Travel, and Health. Manage strategic banking partnerships, develop joint business plans, and strengthen relationships across all partner levels. Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, setting targets, monitoring KPIs, and driving sales performance.

Drive digitalisation, innovation, and integration of insurance solutions into banking platforms and customer journeys. Enhance customer experience by improving service standards, turnaround times, customer retention, and overall service delivery. Optimise business processes, systems, and operational efficiency to support sustainable growth.

Oversee financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance and sound risk management. Lead strategic projects and collaborate with internal departments to drive business transformation and continuous improvement. Job Requirements Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Banking or Marketing; postgraduate or professional qualification will be an advantage.

Significant experience in bancassurance, insurance distribution or financial services business development, with a proven track record of business growth. Proven experience in senior stakeholder engagement, commercial negotiations, and team leadership. Strong understanding of insurance products, distribution channels, and commercial performance.

Good knowledge of digital platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics. Sound understanding of the Mauritian regulatory and compliance framework. Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to drive business transformation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement.

Strong commercial acumen, results-oriented mindset, and ability to deliver against challenging targets.
