To learn more about Barnes Aerospace, please visit www.barnesaero.com . Core Responsibilities: Initiate and develop new repairs on aero-engine components. Prepare and maintain work instructions for aero-engine component repairs. Perform tooling/ fixture design. Ensure compliance to OEM technical data and regulatory requirements. Manage new machine and process qualifications. In charge of process improvements to improve process robustness, process efficiency and repair yield. Prepare First Article inspection reports. Take the lead in providing technical recommendations and technical dispositions to the Operations team. Actively participate and support continuous improvement/ Kaizen projects. Multi-task other engineering-related duties as assigned. Comply with the company’s health and safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience in an aerospace repair and overhaul environment. Knowledge of repair processes such as Welding (TIG/EBW), Thermal Spray, Heat Treatment, Brazing, High Pressure Water Jet Stripping, Chemical Cleaning, Shot peening, Machining, etc. will be a plus. Highly motivated professional who is able to work within a cross-functional team.

Education

Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
