About The Role

People Strategy Advisor REF 1 07109 Contract Length: 31.03.2027 Location: Hybrid/Whitehall (Inner London) Induction onsite, then hybrid. 1-2 days per week on site, as required for Business needs. Tuesday is usual anchor day IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate Security Clearance: SC requested Spinwell is recruiting for a People Strategy Advisor for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

OF THE PEOPLE STRATEGY ADVISOR Previous Civil Service HR experience with a strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and workforce management practices. Strong Stakeholder Management / Engagement skills Experience supporting workforce planning, people operations or strategic people initiatives. Experience from a previous CS HR role with an understanding of HR policies and process and/or strategic planning.

Ability to communicate complex and often sensitive topics to Stakeholders across grades and SCS Sound judgement, evidence, and knowledge to arrive at accurate, expert, and professional decisions and advice – a strong problem-solver. Working Knowledge of government HR and L&D policies and systems and processes Excellent Written Skills and close attention to detail – communicating in a straightforward, honest, and engaging manner, choosing appropriate styles to maximise understanding and impact Track record of streamlining processes and making efficiencies Experience of business change and or people change projects Highly organised adaptable and willing to work flexibly as required.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PEOPLE STRATEGY ADVISOR Associate CIPD Qualification Understanding of Defence is nice to have Experience working within complex government, defence, or public sector environments.
