Job Purpose To oversee the Accounts Receivable function by ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer transactions, effective credit risk management, and efficient collection of receivables. The role is responsible for maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with contractual and company policies, optimizing cash flow, minimizing credit exposure and overdue balances, and providing insightful reporting and analysis to support business decision-making and financial performance.

The job holder will be based in our Cairo site in Al Obour City, Egypt, and will report to Accounts Receivable Sr. Manager.

Your responsibilities

Lead and supervise the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring timely and accurate execution of daily operations. Review and released received orders from tenders according to contracts, ensuring compliance with sales order conditions, payment terms, discounts, and contract duration. Monitor distributors’ credit limits and credit risk exposure, recommending corrective actions and ensuring adherence to company credit policies.

Review and validate monthly claims, rebates, and deductions for distributors based on contractual agreements. Oversee customer clearing activities on SAP after settlement of cheques and ensure accurate impact on GL accounts. Ensure proper registration and monitoring of customer cheques on SAP and approve the creation of new customer accounts.

Review and analyze aging reports, overdue balances, and collection performance, taking proactive actions to minimize overdue receivables. Prepare and analyze sales, collections, and receivables reports for management and support decision-making processes. Support month-end and year-end closing activities and coordinate with internal and external auditors when required.

Drive continuous process improvements and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies. Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in commerce (Accounting) or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Credit Control, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Advanced Excel, SAP knowledge, analytical thinking, leadership skills, attention to detail, strong communication, and excellent command of English.
