We are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities

Conduct nursing psychiatric assessments, assess physical health needs, make appropriate referrals to community physicians, and provide management and administration of medications in conjunction with the psychiatrist/PMHNP.

Requirements

Graduate of Practical/Vocational Nursing Program Current/valid license as an LPN in the State of Virginia One (1) year of clinical experience as an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an adult inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting. Valid Drivers License with a point balance of -6 or higher. Preferred Three (3) years position related clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting required as a LPN.

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (RN-BC). Will rotate to other clinic sites within the catchment area on an as needed basis. Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace. No weekends!
