93/ hour # $53.18/hour; plus#applicable shift differentials for nights and weekends Application Deadline:#There is no formal application deadline; we#accept applications on an ongoing basis for this position. # # KEY RESPONSIBILITIES # Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care aligned with Craig#s standards and the ANA Code of Ethics # Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team # Educate patients and families on care plans, goals, and long-term self-management techniques # Coordinate care with team members across disciplines, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity # Safely administer medications and monitor for efficacy and adverse effects # Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner # Apply principles of infection prevention and patient safety to every interaction # Supervise and delegate to unlicensed staff and students as appropriate # Support orientation of new staff and participate in precepting when assigned # Actively participate in Shared Governance, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities # Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and team-oriented unit culture # WHAT WE ARE#LOOKING FOR Licensure # Certification # Current Colorado RN license # BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)#required # ACLS and relevant specialty certification (CNRN or CRRN) preferred Education # Graduate of an accredited nursing program required # BSN required within 18 months of hire (CCNE or NLNAC-accredited program preferred) Experience # Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred # Experience in neuroscience, acute med-surg, or rehabilitation strongly desired Skills # Strengths # Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills # Effective communicator and team collaborator # Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and trauma-informed care # Organized, self-motivated, and skilled in time management # Comfortable using EMRs and basic computer systems # # Craig Hospital Benefits: (Benefit Eligible Positions) At Craig Hospital,#we offer a wide range of outstanding benefits that allow our employees to tailor a benefits package that meets their individual needs.
