Custodian School Build Lead Byron Center Public Schools Location: Byron Center, MI, 49315 Position: Full-time, 2nd Shift Job Description GRBS, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and motivated Custodian School Build Lead to join our team. This full-time, 2nd shift position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will lead custodial efforts during school build projects and daily operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate custodial activities related to school build. Perform general custodial duties including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Ensure all assigned areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Collaborate with team members and school staff to meet facility needs and schedules.

Operate custodial equipment safely and efficiently. Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to appropriate personnel. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed. Demonstrate a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors. Skills & Qualifications Reliability: Consistently dependable and punctual.

Self-motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Positive attitude: Approaches tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism. Reliable transportation: Must have dependable means of transportation to and from work. Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact courteously with others.

Work Schedule This is a full-time position working the 2nd shift at Byron Center Middle School. Candidates must be able to maintain energy and focus throughout the entire shift.

Monday -Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm One rotating weekend shift per month Payrate $17.50 per hour GRBSAV
