After-School Assistant @ Various Schools

Starting Pay: NC01, $16.33 (subject to changes) Knowledge of Community Schools Policies. Basic knowledge of educational and recreational programming. Ability to supervise groups of children. Ability to communicate with individuals on various levels. Complete 8-hours of in-service training before the DCDEE State compliance visit for the staff's base school.

Complete and/or maintain CPR/First Aid and Basic School Age Care certification before the DCDEE State compliance visit for the staff's base school. Assist in taking attendance daily for the group you are responsible for and supervising. Complete required weekly scheduling activities for your responsible group along with weekly reports.

Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies, snacks and other materials used in the program. Supervise groups of children in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
