Cleaning Operative (Holiday Cover)

Location: 22 Frances Street, Newtownards, BT23 7DP Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE) Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 10:30am 7.5 hours per week Contract: Temporary Holiday Cover About the Role We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work within a secure banking environment in Newtownards.

This is a part-time holiday cover opportunity, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and is comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

General office cleaning Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors Cleaning desks, workstations and touch points Cleaning kitchens and staff welfare facilities Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns Working safely and following all site procedures Candidate Requirements Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working as a lone worker where required Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating an alarm system where applicable Good attention to detail Right to work in the UK Pre-Employment Requirements Successful candidates will be required to complete: Right to Work verification Employment history checks where required by the client Site security and compliance checks Candidates must bring original Right to Work documentation to their site induction.
