R&D Mechatronics Engineer

Applied Research Associates, Inc., Test Technology Division in Albuquerque, NM is looking for a Research and Development Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Engineering and Scientific staff in performing integration of COTS software with unique test articles and research platforms.

This position is responsible for specifying and installing control systems and maintaining and coding new applications to optimize performance. You will gain a deep understanding of defense research related to ordinance and energetics. In addition to your technical role, you will assist with program management, planning and budgeting, and status reporting.
