Job Summary

The Engineer III develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area in this position. They evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features. This position collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments and work on small projects or portions of larger projects.

Essential Duties

& Responsibilities: Perform moderate design tasks or lead review tasks Prepare portions of project documents or provide markups for reviewed documents Edit or provide review of specifications Perform research and investigations Work independently on tasks and use appropriate discretion to elevate concerns and before reaching out to the client This position may require travel.

On occasion, travel to Rail. e., Microsoft Office Suite) Possess effective oral and written communication skills Interact with other staff Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and Civil3D) is required. Micro. Station, In. Rail ad Open. Rail experience is a plus. Knowledge of rail industry regulations, codes, and standards. Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. Engaged in life-long learning to maintain knowledge of contemporary issues. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Professional License 3+ years prior experience needed Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.
