Structural Engineer - Building (Malaysia Hiring)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design of structural engineering projects, including temporary works, buildings, bridges, roads, pipelines, etc., ensuring designs meet technical standards and contract requirements• Ensure project quality complies with relevant building regulations and engineering standards• Evaluate existing structures, analyzing their strength, stability, and durability, and propose corresponding improvement plans• Supervise the implementation of structural engineering projects to ensure construction aligns with design requirements and technical standards• Provide necessary technical support and solutions to the project team, addressing technical issues during design and construction• Coordinate with other relevant parties, such as clients, consulting engineers, site teams, subcontractors, etc., to ensure the construction projects proceed smoothly and on schedule Requirements:
• Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering or equivalent• Minimum 3 years of relevant site experience preferably from main contractors• Professional membership or certification (e.g., MHKIE, MICE, MIStructE) is preferred• Familiarity with Hong Kong construction project management regulations• Experience in Hong Kong projects preferred• Detail-oriented, strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese) Apply now
