This is a hands-on production position where you will use hand tools, power tools, welding and fabrication equipment, and other shop tools to inspect, repair, and refurbish roller cages, crates, carts, and related equipment. You will replace damaged components, complete minor repairs, and help ensure equipment is safe and ready for continued use. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, maintenance, assembly, warehouse operations, mechanical work, fabrication, welding, or other industrial environments are encouraged to apply. What You Will Be Doing Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to: Inspect roller cages, crates, carts, and related equipment for damage, wear, or missing components. Repair and refurbish equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication tools. Replace damaged or worn bolts, wheels, casters, straps, fasteners, and other hardware. Remove and install replacement components according to established repair procedures. Perform minor adjustments to ensure equipment operates and moves properly. Prepare surfaces and apply spray paint or touch-up paint to repaired areas as needed. Clean equipment before and after repairs. Identify equipment that cannot be repaired and report it for further evaluation or disposal. Organize and maintain replacement parts, hardware, tools, and inventory supplies. Complete basic repair documentation and track completed work as required. Move and position cages, crates, and equipment throughout the work area. Inspect completed repairs to ensure equipment is ready for use. Report damaged tools, equipment, or unusual repair issues to the supervisor. Meet daily productivity KPIs and repair-volume expectations. Operate a forklift as needed. Assist with general shop, warehouse, or maintenance duties as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, mechanical repair, warehouse operations, assembly, maintenance, fabrication, welding, or industrial environments is preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools, power tools, and general shop equipment. Basic welding or fabrication experience is preferred.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, repair procedures, and production standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify damaged or worn components accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a production environment and consistently meet productivity and quality expectations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable attendance and the ability to maintain a consistent work pace throughout the shift. Forklift experience is preferred. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to work a full-time Monday

  • Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM schedule. Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Ability to lift and move equipment, parts, and components weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely move, position, and work around roller cages, crates, carts, and related equipment. Ability to work safely in a warehouse and production environment. Ability to hear and distinguish workplace instructions and emergency signals. Reliable transportation to and from the Sidney, OH work location. Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment and workplace substance-abuse screening requirements.
