Knowledge Bowl Coach

Are you passionate about academic competition and inspiring students to think critically and collaborate as a team? Telluride School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Knowledge Bowl Coach to lead our high school team for the upcoming season! Salary: $1599/ year Responsibilities: Organize and lead regular practices (once a week, during lunch break); Knowledge Bowl Tournaments are once a month starting in October ending in March.

Prepare students for regional and state-level Knowledge Bowl competitions Foster a positive, inclusive, and academically rigorous team environment Coordinate competition registration, transportation, and logistics Collaborate with school administration and other coaches Serve as a mentor and role model to student participants Qualifications: Strong knowledge across a variety of academic subjects (history, science, literature, etc.)

Excellent organizational and communication skills Experience with academic competitions (preferred but not required) Ability to work with high school students and support their academic growth Teaching certificate (preferred but not required)
