Job description

Summary/Objective The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for providing site wide Human Resource expertise and support for approximately 350-450 temporary associates.

Essential Functions

Ensure that pre-placement hiring requirements are met and badges issued appropriately. Responsible for de-activation of badges for suspended and terminated employees. Ensure security rosters are maintained between security, the client, and MAU. Ordering and maintaining uniform inventory for associates on-site In charge of conducting annual HR training for MAU associates, including topics such as union positions, workplace violence, and harassment prevention.

Serve as the main liaison with MAU Corporate, coordinating training initiatives, scheduling plant staff, and managing personnel files for EEO investigations while assisting MAU general counsel. Post job openings and job transfers In association with the MAU Site Manager, establish posting requirements and key interview questions.

Communicate to candidates whether regarding applicant selection. Post promotion announcements. Schedule interview times, locations, and required team members. Serve on the interview team. Complete required documents associated with wage changes (PAR) for MAU Finance. Communicate wage changes to MAU payroll and invoicing for Bullhorn assignment update.

Support Performance Development Appraisals by training all management staff on the PDA format and evaluation best practices, updating evaluation documents, and providing training on new standards. Lead all HR investigations, including EEOC/discrimination charges and harassment claims. Ensure timely responses and flexible investigation locations (shift or MAU Branch).

Communicate clearly with MAU Site Management and Platform Managers regarding necessary suspensions. Maintain timely communications to adjust personnel schedules for thorough investigations. Report case dispositions, return dates, and times for suspended employees to the leadership team. Consistently apply HR guidelines to mitigate exposure and identify training opportunities.

Administer the drug testing program (random, property damage, for cause, post-accident). Provide case management support to MAU Safety and Site Manager. Promote safety by identifying hazards, correcting harmful conditions, and enhancing MAU’s safety culture within your division and team. Administer employee counseling and documentation programs for attendance, work performance, and personal conduct.

Ensure timely and properly formatted documentation and serve as a witness during counseling sessions. Administer MAU recognition programs, including department and site safety milestones, as well as monthly employee birthday and anniversary celebrations. Ensure HR Assistant is managing Bullhorn Order/Assignment activity in concert with required client purchase orders.

Establish audit program to ensure MAU compliance. Ensure that payroll is entered daily and that missed punches are investigated and properly documented. Ensure payroll is summarized weekly and ready for electronic transmission to MAU Augusta Branch. Administer direct deposit and pay card programs. CIP and manage payroll improvements throughout the facility Monitor the MAU AR for the client and ensure that HR Assistant is updating weekly NTX amounts for each PO.

Ensure that client service confirmers have the necessary documentation to ensure invoice processing. Manage site wide communications related to policy changes and deployment. Ensure reminder postings are generated and posted site wide for MAU Augusta Branch holidays that may affect payroll distribution. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Customer sites sometimes include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles. Environments may vary from non-temperature-controlled environments to GMP clean room required.

Physical Demands This position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation: Must be able to walk up to 3 miles daily Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
