Registered Nurse

InGenesis is currently seeking Registered Nurses to work with our client in Savannah, Georgia . In this role, you will perform comprehensive behavioral health nursing services to hospital patients. Provide Nursing Assessment at admission - perform initial assessment, health history, nursing assessment, risk assessment, routine laboratory studies as indicated or directed on every patient within two (2) hours of patient’s arrival. Conduct routine physical examinations upon patients’ entry to the Department hospital site.

Dispense (including sub-cutaneous) injections and monitor medications per Doctors orders. Monitor Consumer vitals. Document and record in Patients record all nursing related encounters. Performs approved techniques to prevent and safely manage aggressive behaviors. Interface with Community Based Mental Health Provider, Hospitals, and entities for continuation of Patient Care, including transfer, bed information, etc.

Prep Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license. Experience in patient assessments. Strong documentation and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team. Proficient with health assessment tools. Valid driver's license with a clean record. AHA(American Heart Association) CPR/BLS Minimum 1 year inpatient psych nursing experience.

Detox and corrections will be considered. Prefer minimum of 1 year hospital medical experience.
