• Sunday 12:00pm - 8:00pm (16 hours weekly) Location: This is a county flood-control facility in Pacoima and Sun Valley. Best for applicants who live in or near Pacoima, Sun Valley, Arleta, Sylmar, San Fernando or Panorama City.

What you'll do

Patrol county facilities by vehicle and on foot Check gates, fencing and equipment Write clear daily activity and incident reports Respond to alarms and incidents, and contact police or emergency services when needed Provide professional, courteous service to county staff No guard card yet? Qualified applicants may receive a conditional offer, then complete the required BSIS training and apply for a guard card.

Patrol Solutions does not pay for this training; we'll point you to approved schools nearby. Your start date is set once your guard card is issued.

Qualifications

21 or older (required by our insurance for driving positions). Drivers under 23 need an additional insurance review, which can take several weeks. Valid California BSIS Guard Card, or willing to get one before your first shift (see "No guard card yet?") Baton permit, pepper spray certification and CPR/First Aid before your first shift Valid California driver's license with a clean 3-year driving record Reliable transportation to Pacoima Able to write clear reports in English and use a smartphone for daily activity reports Patrol Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
