RN/LPN Position - Day Shift - Cura of Monticello

Cura Health is looking for a caring Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our senior community! We have full-time and part-time opportunities available, with an every other weekend schedule. This is a vital role where you’ll deliver great patient-centered care during the week, and with a weekend rotation, helping ensure excellent outcomes for our residents! What you’ll do: Provide direct nursing care for residents on the floor—offering support, education, medications, and treatments. Monitor and assess residents’ health status, vital signs, and overall condition, and report changes promptly .

Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. Accurately document care provided and keep records complete and up to date. Collaborate with the healthcare team to support continuity of care. Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents, families, and visitors. Lead and empower NAR staff on the floor by supporting residents with their needs and ADLs as shift leader.

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Completion of an accredited nursing program. Previous clinical experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliability to work every other weekend as required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
